3 Bears International Motorsports was founded in the Swiss countryside with exciting hill climbs and classic European road rallies in the early 1960s. This adventurous spirit continues in the deserts of North America with our next generation of racing.
Over sixty years after our first start, 3 Bears is an off-road race team made up of dedicated people passionate about off-road racing.
The 3 Bears team is now led by its president, professional racer Charles Dorrance, who began his off-road racing career in 2009 as a navigator and worked to become a championship driver.
In 2012, Dorrance reignited 3 Bears Motorsports, going on to successfully compete in numerous races and circuits, including the Baja 1000, Baja 500, Mint 400, Stadium Super Trucks events and the Summer X Games. Charles is carrying on our international racing tradition in Canada, Mexico, the USA and Australia. In 2019, Charles Dorrance and the 3 Bears team came in third in the Score International Championship and won the iconic Baja 500.

WHY WE RACE
Off-road racing is the ultimate motorsport. With almost no restrictions and only basic rules, it embodies the true essence of why we race.
Off-road vehicles are made for one purpose only - to race through the roughest terrain imaginable at speeds that can reach over 100MPH. Racing hundreds of miles, through rain, blistering heat and some of the toughest terrain in the world, pushing around the clock in the black of night for more than 24 hour stretches, in dangerous conditions.
Drivers don't race for money; they race for the thrill, the honor, the rush, the fans, and the dirt.
We love our fans and bringing them close to the action.
There are no safety crews, no caution flags, and no re-starts. There's nothing else like it.
